Parade (formerly Dray Technologies) is a software company producing big data and artificial intelligence solutions for transportation companies. Parade extracts business intelligence from real-time and historical data to optimize communication, decision-making, and freight opportunities.
Preet spent hours inside his uncle's semi-truck as a teenager, learning about transportation from a very young age. Over the years, Preet noticed his uncle had difficulties finding consistent work despite driver demand being higher than ever. The industry had an optimization problem.
After attending college, Preet teamed up with some of UC Berkeley's best software engineering talent to solve the glaring inefficiencies he’d witnessed growing up. Within a year, the team started a brokerage (Dray Technologies) from the ground up to learn everything they could about the market in order to build better technology for it. They discovered that trucking didn’t need to replace its workforce, its workforce just needed better tools.
The team ceased their brokerage operations and began building more advanced software for others. Dray rebranded as Parade, creating artificial intelligence and big data solutions to streamline America’s supply chain.
Parade is a Swiss-army knife for transportation companies. Our artificial intelligence fits into existing software suites and workflows, constantly learning from client interactions in order to:
